Acquisition of PT Margautama Nusantara (MUN)
Bold Native Advisors were procured by Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation to act as part of the transaction advisory team conducting due diligence on the acquisition of Nusantara PT – the 3rd largest toll road opening in Indonesia.
Bold Native Advisors activities included the review of four existing toll roads operated by MUN. The roads were Bosowa Marga Nusantara (BMN), Jalan Tol Seksi Empat (JTSE) both which are located in Makassar, South Sulawesi and Bintaro Serpong Damai (BSD) in Banten and Jakarta Ring Baratsatu (JLB) in Jakarta.
BMN is a 5.95 km toll road that connects Soekarno-Hatta Port and AP Pettarani Road. It is connected to the 11.57 km JTSE toll road, which provides access to Sultan Hassanudin Airport. The BSD toll road is a 7.25 km road that connects Serpong and Pondok Aren, Jakarta. Lastly, the 9.7km JLB toll road, which is Section W1 of Jakarta Outer Ring Road, connects Kebon Jeruk (West Jakarta) with Penjaringan and Soekarno-Hatta International Airport area, Cengkareng.
The forecasts will be used by the client to make an investment decision on whether to purchase part or all of the toll roads.
On this project Bold Native Advisors provided the following services:
- Demand and revenue forecasts for the four toll roads.
- Production of Final Report.
